About The Play

“The Walls Have Ears” is a play about family & freedom, inspired by the writer’s grandfather’s experience as a Cuban political prisoner. Emotional, darkly comedic, and deeply human, it’s a love letter to Cuba’s political prisoners and the Cuban diaspora.


“Las Paredes Oyen” es una obra que explora la familia y la libertad, inspirada en la experiencia del abuelo del autor como preso político cubano. Emotiva, con toques de humor oscuro y profundamente humana, es una carta de amor a los presos políticos de Cuba y a su diáspora.
