Take a walk through 1960s Cuba to the present day

About Us

The history

About the play

Inspired by the writers grandfather’s experience as a political prisoner in el Presidio Modelo at Isla de Pinos, we explore the crossroads between family and political ideology. Emotional, rooted in character, at times comedic and absurd, The Walls Have Ears is a love letter to cuban political prisoners and the cuban diaspora.

TODAY IS A

DAY OF

Freedom.
